The River Pines Public Utility District is a special district that provides water and wastewater services to the River Pines area.
RPPUD was formed on July 24, 1961, as an independent special district. RPPUD was formed to provide water services to the River Pines community. The sewer system was completed in 1988 to address public health hazards from failing private septic systems. LAFCO authorized water and sewer related services in 2012 in conjunction with adopting a sphere of influence for the district.
River Pines Public Utility District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, River Pines Public Utility District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
