Present Goal: "To be involved with the improvement and beautification of River Pines."
Rick has served as a member of the River Pines Public Utility Board of Directors since December 9, 2015. He brings experience as a past president of the Tierra Cabroso 4WD Club. He is an active member of the California Blacksmith Association and has served as a staff member at CBA Conferences and events. Rick also served on the Arizona Artist Blacksmit Association Board of Directors and has the designation of "Clamps Carpoundicus" of the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus, Las Plumas del Oro Chapter. He also served as Vice-Noble Grand Humbug for the same chapter.
Rick spent most of his professional life in the Auto Body trade as a technician, equipment sales and as owner of Miller's Body and Paint in Quincy, California.
Now in semi-retirement, Rick does blacksmithing and metal sculpture at his shop located at Rinehart Ironworks in Plymouth, California. His latest project was a Memorial Tree commissioned by the Jackson Rancheria Casino and Resort. He has also done work for several Shenandoah Valley wineries and local customers.
Rick has chosen to serve the River Pines community on the River Pines Public Utility District Board as a way to not only protect the quality of our water system, but also to be pro-active in helping to mend fences and resolve past disputes in the River Pines community.
